Painted in the proportions of 1 to 3, Peter Jones’ landscape painting on the Driggers Billboard happens to mimic the proportions of 2 landscapes he painted in Italy in 1990 and 1991. The recent painting is one of a five panel series based on photographs taken of Downtown Ruston on February 29, 2020—the early moments of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
